What we collect
Your name and phone number. Your pickup address, if we collect from your home. What is wrong with the appliance, and the photos you add when you book. The photos and videos we take of your appliance when it reaches us, when we check it and when we have repaired it. A record of each order, so your warranty works.
What we use it for
Only to run your repair. We send the code to sign in, the price, updates and the receipt on WhatsApp, to the number you gave us. We do not sell your details and we do not give them to advertisers.
Who else sees it
Many repairs are done at a fixthis partner workshop. The workshop sees the appliance, what is wrong with it, the photos and the order number. It never sees your name, phone number or address. If you bring your appliance to our own store, the person at the counter sees your name and the last four digits of your phone number, so they can check it is you.
Services we use
WhatsApp, run by Meta, carries our messages and sign-in codes. Your details and orders are stored on our own server. Photos, videos and backups are stored with Cloudflare. We use DataFast to count visits to this website: which pages are opened, where visitors come from and what device they use. DataFast sets a cookie to tell a new visit from a returning one. It does not get your name, phone number or address.
Cookies
When you sign in with your phone number, a cookie keeps you signed in on fixthis.in and my.fixthis.in. DataFast sets its own cookie, as above. We use no advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your details, photos, videos and order records. They are how your warranty works, and they make your next repair faster. Nothing is deleted on a timer. You can ask us to delete them.
Your choices
Want something corrected or deleted? Message us on WhatsApp at +91 93251 50810 or write to hello@fixthis.in. Deleting your order history also ends its warranty cover, because the record is the proof.
